OAKRIDGE PINOT MENUIER 2014

Transparent garnet colour works wonders on the eyes. Sparkles like jewels. Muted scents of red berries, musk, cloudy grape juice from a Tetra pack, touch of spice. Really vibrant and crisp to taste; sets the senses off immediately. Not a lot of complexity, but my word, it’s electric in acidity and bristling with fruit purity. Light trim of chalky tannins fringe the wine and lend some structure, not that structure feels like the idea. Smashable and wickedly delicious.
